What Will Your First Visit Be Like?
You'll be asked to fill out some paperwork, which is likely to include questions about your medical history and your current condition. Next, you will be provided a consultation where Dr. Howard will sit down with you to discuss your problem in more detail.
A physical examination will follow, during which you will receive a thorough orthopedic, chiropractic, and neurological evaluation. This will include range-of-motion tests, structural tests, and a postural assessment. A series of standing X-rays will be taken to help rule out the existence of fractures or tumors and to supply additional information about your range of motion. Dr. Howard will go over the findings with you and discuss treatment options.
Treatment will begin immediately and will generally involve a spinal adjustment and some form of massage therapy. However, complete treatment of your condition may require several additional visits.
